Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Jerry Garcia Band Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for a Garcia Band Show at Symphony Hall ! in Springfield, Massachusetts ( MA ) on 11/12/1981 ( rescheduled from 11/11/1981 ) ... on the East Coast 1981 Fall J.G.B. Tour !!!  The J.G.B. delivered 18-Shows ! on this East Coast stretch - from Pennsylvania ( at the Tower ) - to New York ( at S.U.N.Y. ) - to Maryland ( at the Painter's Mill ! ) - to Albany, New York ( at the Palace ) - to New Jersey ( at the Capitol ) - to Washington D.C. ( at McDonough Gym ! ) - to New Jersey ( Rider College ) - to New York ( Palladium ) ... then to Symphony Hall - in Springfield, Mass. !!! ... to Boston ( Orpheum ) - to Vermont ( U.V.M. ) - to Rhode Island ( Providence Arts Center ) ... then on to Chicago ( Uptown ) & then Denver ( Rainbow ) to close the '81 Fall Tour !  And ... any of you Jerry " Guitar ! " Fans out there ... Whoa !! - this Tour simply Speaks !!!  For me personally, the 11/7/81 D.C. Show on this run is one of those J.G.B. nights of Live-Perfection ! - and it stands to this very day, as one of my ' Very-Favorite ' Live Recordings by the Garcia Band - of All-Time !  This one leaked around ' sparingly ' during the midst of the DAT Era - and it was/is ! beyond-remarkable.  This Tour comprised of a 7-Person ! Garcia Band unit - which was actually the most Musicians that Garcia ever had on stage with the J.G.B. all at once !  Strength in numbers - to say the very-least ... but, at the same time - Jerry's Chops ! & Tone ! are just so-darn-hot in this Era - that you could have an entire Army ! on stage ... and you would still hear him Loud & Clear.  Some of the Hottest ! Garcia Band that there is !!  This '81 Fall Tour unit included Jerry - John - Essra Mohawk ( Vocals ) - Melvin - Daoud Shaw ( Drums ) - Liz Stires ( Vocals ) - and Jimmy Warren ( Electric Piano & Clavinet ).  Just a Great ! 7-some - that sounded so well together ... that I often wondered why changes occurred so fast with the line-up ?!  Oh ... but wait - let me take that back ... because naturally - the J.G.B. decided to go the route of a ' New ' Drummer after this Tour ... and that Drummers name was ' Bill ' ... " The Drummer ! ".  That's Right Fans !! - Billy Kreutzmann !!!  So-awesome indeed.  So ... as far as this Cool ! J.G.B. Backstage Pass goes - there is also actually a little bit of cool history behind it ... this Show was ' scheduled ' for 11/11/1981 on the '81 Tour - but ... the ' actual ' Show ended up going-off the next night on 11/12/1981 - as there was an illness in the Band.  So, it reads 11/11/1981 - but was actually used as the ' Official ' Backstage Pass Show credential on 11/12/1981 !  Check out the set list below & Enjoy !!!  I sure wish more of this '81 ! J.G.B. would be let-loose from that oh so precious J.G.B.
