Dead Fans !!! ... and of course - Deadheads ! who dig their G.D. / Reonegro Backstage Pass " Puzzles ! " ... and/or that Red-Hot ! Spring '90 Live Grateful Dead too !!!  Well, offered here indeed is the Vintage Official ( Genuine / Authentic ) G.D. Backstage Pass Puzzle Piece ! designed by Reonegro that was used by the Grateful Dead for their official Backstage Passes credentials !  March 30, 1990 at the Nassau Coliseum ! in New York !!  Now, there had been plenty of Reonegro designs & T-Shirts too ! prior to '90 ... but, this was a Whole ! new rabbit leaping out of the hat !  Artistic Backstage Passes ( patches / satins ) that would conveniently ... and Very-Cooly !!! fit-together to make ' Complete ' larger Puzzles !  Well, maybe this was still even towards the test-stage for a potential popularity test on the ' Puzzle-Pass ' method, as this " Ocean Whale ! " was only the ' 2nd ' Puzzle designed by Reonegro -- and is just two ( 2 ) pieces only ! ... for 3/27/90 ( Knickerbocker Arena - Albany, New York ( NY ) ) & 3/30/90 ( Nassau Coliseum - Uniondale, New York ( NY ) ) -- fitting together to create a ' Complete ' Ocean Whale ! Art Image !!  So Incredibly-Awesome ...  Not only is this a way-cool Puzzle, but it's also only the 2nd one ever-made by Reonegro for the Band ! - which Quickly ! led to many, many more ... including, eventually - the 20-Puzzle Piece " Train " !!!!!  With of course, the Very-1st Puzzle being the " Tiki " Puzzle which is comprised of the 3/18/90 & 3/19/90 Hartford Civic Center Shows !  I mean check it out, as in Spring 1990 - the Fun ! just got even More-Fun !!  Like we needed any more-fun, right ?  Sure ... We Did !!!  Ha !!  Well, speaking of " Fun " - and on that topic, let's just say these two key words >>> Spring '90 !!!!!!!!!!!  Yep, pretty much - as this East Coast Tour was just Huge !!!  I mean, granted it was not " Stadiums " on this Tour, with it being Spring versus Summer ... but my goodness, was Everything ! just Huge !! ... & truly Larger Than Life ! - ' Live ' Grateful Dead !!!  The Band was Hot ! ... and in true fact -- Really-Darn Hot !!!  The Scene was Huge !  The Lots were Packed !  The Tickets were Tough !  I mean this is something one really had to see themselves ' On ' this Tour, to actually comprehend the scene - anticipation - and most importantly ... the Vibrant-Energy ! -- by both !! the Fans & the Band !!!  I myself only caught the Cap Centre, and maybe that was part of why I feel that way ... because it's the Cap Centre ! in the MD !! and all.  Always a Crazy ! East Coast Hot-Spot ! Venue - with Rabid & Ready G.D. Fans !!  Where in fact, almost everything Fun ... gets treated like a Redskins Game Parking Lot ! ... Ha !!  Just kidding ... as I'm sure the Copps / Hamilton Shows were far-mellower, but ... you know what I mean.  Actually though, at that age - I thought it Completely-Rocked !  But, regardless ... once you got to your seat - you got stuff like Loose Lucy - for the 1st time in 16-Years !?!  Sure glad to say that I did ... dang.  Talk about a Crowd-response !  Whoa !!!?!!  Well, the skinny on this 3/30 Hartford " Whale Pass " Show, is that Soundboards circulated way-Fast !!!  In fact, the ' FM ' source was available instantaneously - as this Show was actually a Live ! Radio Broadcast on WNEW - in New York !!  And ... what really-really ! made this Show special to your average Dead Fan, was that the Help > Slip > Franklin's !!! Show Opener ! was used on the Grateful Dead's then New, and now both Classic ! & Legendary !! release ... " Without A Net " !!!  Yep, so this here Reonegro " Whale " Pass was indeed the Nassau Show where the Help > Slip > Frank ! on " Without A Net " was Born !!!  Wow ... and what a Heater ! too, right ?  Right on - I say ... Whoa !!  And, if you are well-familiar with this Show, or if you were actually right in the House ! for this one ( Hopefully ?!? ) - well, then you are already Well ! in the know how Incredibly-Hot !!! this 2nd Set was ... now check this one out ! >>>  Iko > Playin' > China Doll > Uncle John's > Terrapin > Drums > Space > Miracle > Gimmie Some Lovin' > Standing On The Moon > Not Fade Away !!!  Whoa !?!! ... just a Long Island Smoker ! right here, my fellow Brent Fans !!!  Dang ... One of the Best ! Shows of this Tour too - and, this indeed being Spring '90, and all ... that-claim is always a tall order.  But, if you haven't heard this one ? ... it's time to check-it-out !  Because the Boys are just " On !!! ".  This was a 3-night run at Nassau, and this Show here on 3/30/90 - was indeed the Final-Night - when things were all nice & dialed.  And, actually come to think of it - this Show was actually Brent's 2nd to last Ever ! in the Grate ! State of New York !! - with the Buffalo Summer Tour Show, being his very-last.  This was a way-special Dead run for certain, and - as you can well see from the photos too ... this Whale ! is All !! Smiles!!!  So, once you have this Puzzle Piece ... all you need is the 3/27/90 Knickerbocker Puzzle Piece too - and then ... you will also have the ' Whale Tale ! '... and, a little bit of Ocean Wave Swell ! as well !!  ' Might as Well ' indeed ! ... and " Mighty Swell !!! " for certain !!  Enjoy !!!!!
